Nurse Practitioner specializing in mobile urgent care and home assessments. With over 10 years of nursing experience, I’m always looking for opportunities to learn and grow as a practitioner. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient medicine as well as a Bachelor's degree in Health Education. I started my nursing career at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY where I worked on a medical-surgical-telemetry unit. I eventually left my permanent position to pursue travel nursing. I worked as a travel nurse for over 2 years in the fields of medical-surgical, telemetry, hospice, oncology, burn, ENT, and general surgery. During this time I precepted nursing students, acted as charge nurse, and floated to cardiac, neurosurgery, orthopedic and transplant units. Travel nursing led me to beautiful Denver, Colorado, which is the city I now call home. I have worked primarily in primary care, serving family medicine, internal medicine and pediatric patients for 7 years. Now, as an NP, in my first year of practice, I’ve been able to branch out and meet patients literally and figuratively where they are, in their homes. I am excited to continue gaining experience and knowledge in my field and am honored to be able to call myself a FNP-C.
